J. Craig Brumfield, GSP has a diverse work experience. J. Craig started their career in 2018 at Nelson Tree Service, LLC, where they worked as a Safety Data Analyst and later as a Corporate Safety Director Assistant. During their time at Nelson Tree Service, they developed training on Bloodborne Pathogens and created a QR code "cheat sheet" for easy access to safety training videos.

In 2021, Craig worked as an Industrial Hygiene Intern at ICL-IP, where they collaborated with department leaders to identify areas of high exposure potential. J. Craig also revised the Industrial Hygiene sampling plan to align with current operations. Additionally, they used a Sampling Guide to determine exposure limits and analysis procedures.

In 2022, Craig gained experience at Toyota Motor Manufacturing, West Virginia, Inc. as a Safety Analyst Co-op. J. Craig then interned at Talen Energy as a Fossil Fleet Safety Intern. Currently, they are working at Koppers Inc. as a Safety, Health, Environmental, & Quality Coordinator (SHEQ).

J. Craig Brumfield, GSP, obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Occupational Safety and Health from Marshall University, where they studied from 2017 to 2022. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications including RCRA Hazardous Waste Management from Lion Technology Inc. in April 2023, Adult First Aid/CPR/AED from the American Red Cross in February 2023, GSP certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals in January 2023, 10-hour General Industry Safety and Heath certification from the US Department of Labor OSHA in March 2022, and 30-hour Construction Safety and Health certification from the US Department of Labor OSHA in December 2018.
