Andrea A.

Andrea A. has a strong background in technical operations and network management. Andrea is currently the Director of Technical Operations at KORE Wireless, where they are responsible for building and implementing the company's global network. Prior to that, they worked at ASPIDER-NGI as the Manager of Technical Services, where they managed the service team and reported directly to the CIO. Andrea also held roles as Team Leader Core and IP Networks, as well as Network Engineer at ASPIDER-NGI. Earlier in their career, they worked at MITA as a Networks Technical Officer and NOC Technical Officer, where they gained extensive experience in setting up networks and providing support. Andrea has expertise in Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls, as well as proficiency in both open and proprietary routing protocols.

Andrea A. completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) degree in Computer and Telecommunications Engineering at the University of Malta from 2003 to 2007. In 2018, Andrea pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management at Henley Business School, which was completed in 2021. Additionally, Andrea obtained several certifications including LPIC-1 from the Linux Professional Institute in 2017, CCNP - Firewalls from Cisco in 2016, Effective Management from MCAST in 2016, CCNA - Security from Cisco in 2014, CCNP from Cisco in 2012, CCNA from Cisco in 2011, and ITIL v3 from Purple Griffon in 2009.
