Carlos Larcada has a diverse range of work experience in the food and beverage industry. From 2006 to 2015, they held various positions, starting as a Management Intern at Union Square Hospitality Group, then working as a Bartender at The Statler Hotel at Cornell University. Carlos then moved on to Levy Restaurants, where they first served as a Luxury Suites Manager and later became a Senior Club Manager at Hyde Lounge. In 2010, Carlos worked as a Beverage Manager at The Ritz-Carlton and JW Marriott before becoming a Restaurant and Beverage Manager at Asia de Cuba at Mondrian LA. In 2011, they joined Sushi Maki as a Director, Non-Traditional Venues and Development. Finally, Carlos worked at Krispy Kreme, starting as President of Chicagoland Restaurants LLC for five years before becoming a District Manager and eventually the Director of Operations.
Carlos Larcada attended Belen Jesuit Preparatory School from 1998 to 2003, where they obtained a high school diploma. From 2003 to 2007, they attended Cornell University and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Hotel Administration. In 2006, they participated in a Study Abroad Program in Madrid, focusing on Business Administration in Latin America at Syracuse University. Carlos Larcada also holds a Level 1 Sommelier Certification from The Court of Master Sommeliers.
