Gregory Fong

Gregory Fong has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Gregory started their career as a PHP App Developer Intern at REI Systems in 2013. Gregory then worked as a Front End Web Developer at SCHAWEL+COLES for a few months before transitioning to a Lead Web Developer Intern role at Spillman Technologies. Gregory returned to Spillman Technologies as a Senior Java Web Developer from 2014 to 2017.

In 2017, Gregory joined Nike as a Senior Full Stack Engineer, where they contributed to software infrastructure monitoring, cost-saving, and quality initiatives. Gregory remained at Nike until December 2020.

After working at Nike, Gregory joined Fortem Technologies as a Senior DevOps Engineer in 2020. Gregory managed CI/CD processes, cloud resources, and software distribution. Gregory also assumed the role of Software Engineering Manager, leading a team of seven engineers in developing the SkyDome solution.

Gregory then joined Wayfair in 2021 as a Senior Software Engineer, overseeing the upper funnel infrastructure for Wayfair's websites and performing full-stack development for search experiences. In 2022, they co-founded and became the CTO of Entertainment Oxygen-eoApp, where they developed a social platform for filmmakers using various technologies.

Currently, Gregory works as a Software Engineer at Opto Investments since March 2023. The specific details of their role and responsibilities at this company are not provided.

Gregory Fong attended Neumont College of Computer Science from 2011 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science. In addition to their degree, Gregory has also attained several certifications. In May 2018, they became an AWS Certified Developer - Associate and an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate through Amazon Web Services. In August 2020, Gregory obtained a Rest API (Intermediate) Certificate from HackerRank. Most recently, in February 2022, they received certification as a Full Stack Developer from Toptal.
