Elisabeth Freinberg has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Elisabeth currently holds the position of Senior Vice President & Deputy General Counsel at LA28, a role they have been in since 2023. Prior to this, they served as Vice President & Deputy General Counsel at LA28 from 2021 to 2023.

Before joining LA28, Elisabeth worked at USC Gould School of Law as an Adjunct Professor starting in 2016. Elisabeth also gained valuable experience in the entertainment industry, working at Warner Bros. Entertainment from 2011 to 2021. During their time there, Elisabeth held various roles such as Vice President, Business & Legal Affairs, Director, Legal Affairs, and Senior Counsel across different departments within the company.

Elisabeth began their legal career as a Litigation Associate at Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP, where they worked from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, they served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Joseph A. Greenaway, Jr. at the United States District Court, District of New Jersey from 2006 to 2007, and as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Margaret M. Morrow at the United States District Court, Central District of California from 2005 to 2006.

In 2002, Elisabeth gained experience as a Summer Associate at Klee, Tuchin, Bogdanoff & Stern. Their diverse background in academia, entertainment, and law gives their a well-rounded skill set and expertise in various legal areas.

Elisabeth Freinberg attended Harvard-Westlake School from 1992 to 1998, but did not earn a degree or specialize in any specific field during that time. Elisabeth then pursued their undergraduate studies at Columbia University from 1998 to 2002, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in History. Elisabeth went on to attend the University of Michigan Law School from 2002 to 2005, where they obtained their Juris Doctor degree with cum laude honors.
