Arne Barkema

Arne Barkema has a diverse and extensive work experience. In 2015, they were a Full Time Board Member - Fiscus Vereniging (Treasurer) at a.s.v. SSRE. In 2014, they were a Student-assistent at GE Healthcare. From 2017 to 2020, they held various roles at OPEN Health Evidence & Access, including Mid-level Research Consultant and Senior Research Analyst. In 2021, they were a Machine Learning Engineer at Omdena and in 2022, they are a Local Chapter Lead - Amsterdam and Market Intelligence Analyst at Omdena and Land Life, respectively. From 2019 to 2020, they were a Graduate Intern at Erasmus MC, where they wrote a thesis titled 'Faster simulation for colon-cancer screening: a meta-modeling approach' and received a grade of 8.0.

Arne Barkema completed a pre-master in Econometrics & Management Science at the Erasmus School of Economics in 2017-2018. Arne then went on to complete a Master of Science (MSc) in Econometrics: Business Analytics & Quantitative Marketing at the same school in 2018-2020. Prior to that, they studied Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences at the Eindhoven University of Technology from 2012-2017.
