Joe Sabas

Joe Sabas is a highly skilled professional in the field of fermentation product management, currently serving as a Senior Fermentation Product Management Research Associate at LanzaTech. Since June 2021, Joe has focused on evaluating and enhancing product quality through various fermentation, microbiological, and genomic DNA tests. Prior experience includes roles as a Packaging & Production Associate at Exile Brewing Co., where Joe managed bottling lines, and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Iowa State University, gaining expertise in operating large fermentation tanks and exploring algae nanotechnology. Additionally, Joe completed an engineering internship at Advanced Renewable Technology International, Inc., where Joe designed a biochar mass transfer auger system prototype and developed valuable manufacturing skills. Joe holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological/Biosystems Engineering from Iowa State University.
