Scott McPhee is a Scientist I, Data Analytics at Lassogen, and has over a decade of experience in nanoscience research and management. Scott began their career as a Laboratory Manager at the University of Strathclyde, where they managed the EPRSC National Centre for Innovative Manufacturing in Continuous Manufacturing and Crystallisation. Scott then moved to the University of Dundee to take on the role of Service Manager & Research Technician, responsible for the management of the Oligonucleotide Synthesis Service and conducting research projects within the Nucleic Acids Structure Research Group. In August 2016, they took on the role of Nanoscience Lab Manager & Research Specialist at City University of New York, where they oversaw the research of three bioinspired nanoscience groups and conducted research within the Ulijn lab. In March 2022, they joined Lassogen as a Senior Research Associate II. Scott has a passion for nanoscience and is dedicated to conducting cutting-edge research to further our understanding of this field.

Scott McPhee holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Glasgow and is currently in their first year of study for a Chemistry degree at The University of Edinburgh. Scott is certified by Anton Paar USA in Rheology and by Bruker Optics in Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy. Scott is also certified by Anton Paar USA in Dynamic Light Scattering and by The University of Dundee in Registered Radioactivity User.
