Vice President Of Great People, Human Resources at Learning Ally

Steven Valvano was appointed Vice President of Great People, Human Resources at the beginning of February, 2017. Steve is responsible for the day-to-day Human Resources function along with guiding strategies for Workplace Culture Development, Talent Management and Organizational Effectiveness.

Steve comes to Learning Ally with over 30 years of Human Resources experience in multiple industries ranging from start-ups to large brand name multi-national organizations. Highlights of his career include holding the Human Resource leadership role for the Jaguar Car division of the Ford Motor Company, where he supported their progressive Customer Service initiative that resulted in the company achieving ‘top 5’ status within the auto industry.

While with Johnson & Johnson’s Ethicon Division, Steve worked and lived in Europe, and later in his career, held the positions of Vice President, Human Resources for Daiichi Medical Research, SGS North America and Panalpina Inc., where he was instrumental in company culture development for operations in the USA, Canada, Central and South America.

Steve holds an MS Degree in Human Resources Management from Upsala College, and a BS degree in Business Administration from Montclair State University.
