Frank Riehl has held a variety of roles in the telecommunications, technology, and research industries since 1996. In 1996, they began as a Research Assistant at the Mannheim Centre for European Social Research. In 1997, they became a Research Assistant at the Institute for Peace Research and Security Policy (IFSH) at the University of Hamburg. In 1998, they worked as a Summer Associate at A.T. Kearney. In 1999, they were a Consultant at RIFU GmbH. In 2000, they joined A.T. Kearney as a Manager and was responsible for Global Cost Benchmarking. Frank later became an Associate and Senior Business Analyst at A.T. Kearney. In 2007, they became the Director of Sales Channels at Tele2, where they were responsible for sales strategy setting and performance benchmarking across the Tele2 group. In 2016, they were the Group Director of Monobrand, Indirect and Online Channels at VEON, where they were responsible for developing and executing an omnichannel strategy. Finally, in 2022, they became the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Learnster, where they are responsible for Sales and International Growth.

Frank Riehl began their education in 1994 at the University of Hamburg, where they earned a Vordiplom / Bachelor in Political Science, Economics, and European Law. Frank then went on to pursue an MSc in European Politics and Policy at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 1997 to 1998. In 2003, they completed an MBA at IESE Business School. In 2004, they also earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
