Seth Hoy is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Director of Communications at Legal Services NYC since January 2019. In addition to this role, Seth is a Community Advisory Board Member for the Urban Indigenous Collective and has been a volunteer with CUNY Citizenship Now! since June 2016. Previously, Seth held the position of Director of Public Information at the New York City Commission on Human Rights from September 2015 to December 2018, and served as Deputy Communications Director at the Brennan Center for Justice between August 2012 and September 2015. Additional experience includes online communications management at the American Immigration Council, reporting for New Hampshire City Paper (Hippo Press), and teaching English as a volunteer in China and the Marshall Islands. Seth holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from Boston College, earned in 2003.
