Nathan Long

Nathan Long has a wide range of experience in quality assurance, operations program management, and environmental health and safety. Nathan has worked at various companies including Leggett & Platt, Toyotetsu, Toyota Motor Corporation, Uncle Charlie's Meats, and Gray Construction. At Leggett & Platt, they held several director-level positions, focusing on quality assurance and lean/continuous improvement in the bedding industry. Nathan also had significant experience in operations program management and quality assurance in the adjustable bed sector. Prior to that, they worked at Toyotetsu as a manager and assistant manager in environmental health and safety. Before that, they were a program manager at Leggett & Platt and an occupational health, safety, and environmental administrator. Nathan began their career as a safety specialist intern at Toyota Motor Corporation and later served as a safety director at Uncle Charlie's Meats. Nathan also gained experience as a safety technician intern at Gray Construction.

Nathan Long earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Safety/Risk Management with a minor in EHS from Eastern Kentucky University, completing their education from 2002 to 2008. Nathan also obtained additional certifications, including ISO 14001:2004 EMS Lead Auditor from Exemplar Global, Inc. in 2015 and Six Sigma Green Belt certification in 2014.
