Carol Felicio

Carol Felicio has a diverse range of work experience in the field of information technology. Carol started their career as a programmer at Fluxodata - Aplicações Informáticas in Portugal before moving on to work as a Business Analyst at TEBE - Empresa Têxtil de Barcelos, S.A. Carol then joined ENABLER, Grupo SONAE - "Modelo e Continente, S.A." as an EDI Business Analyst.

In 2001, Carol joined PWC Consulting and later transitioned to IBM after the acquisition. In these roles, they worked as a CRM Consultant and a member of the system integration team, focusing on projects in the banking, pharmaceutical, insurance, and consumer goods industries.

Carol then joined Johnson & Johnson where they held multiple roles, including IT Q&C - Global Director Shared Operations, IT Business Relationship Director - Vision Care & Diabetes Solutions EMEA, GTS - Director, Application Security and Controls – EMEA, and Global Services - Manager Resource Management. Carol was responsible for various aspects of IT strategy, security, quality control, and resource management.

Their most recent role was at Leica Microsystems as the Global Information Technology Director.

Carol Felicio holds a Master's degree in Information Technology Project Management from ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics & Management, which they completed in 2022. Carol also obtained a Master's degree in Information Technology from Universidade do Minho in 2013. In addition, they hold a Postgraduate Degree in Project Management from ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics & Management, which they completed in 2011. Their educational journey began with a Licentiate degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from Universidade do Minho, which they obtained in 1997. Carol Felicio has also earned certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (ICBB) from Game Change Lean Six Sigma in 2022, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance in 2016, and Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from Scrum Alliance in 2015. Carol is also a mentor at Pitch Bootcamp.
