Sherrie Osborne

Sherrie Osborne is an accomplished privacy compliance leader with extensive experience in overseeing and implementing privacy programs across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Senior Director and Privacy Compliance Officer at LendingClub since October 2019, Sherrie has also held significant roles, including Director of Global Privacy Compliance at Symantec and Director of U.S. Privacy at Ancestry. Previous positions include consultancy work specializing in privacy and compliance, as well as director-level roles at PayPal and Kaiser Permanente, where leadership encompassed the development and execution of privacy risk assessments and HIPAA security program management. Sherrie's career began at Sun Microsystems, where Sherrie progressed through various roles in IT compliance, finance, and internal audit, laying a strong foundation in regulatory frameworks and risk management. Sherrie holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Economics from the University of San Francisco.
