Michelle Mahoney

Michelle Mahoney has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of social impact and community engagement. Michelle started their career at Leo Burnett in 2005 as the Director of Work Life, where they focused on building a positive culture and implementing work-life balance initiatives. Michelle then served as the Director of Employee Relations, where they established a community relations program called Leo Love to support local non-profit partners. Michelle later advanced to the role of Vice President and Director of Employee & Community Relations, where they expanded the agency's charitable giving and community outreach efforts. Michelle then became the Vice President and Director of Community Engagement, overseeing the agency's non-profit and community partnerships. In their most recent role at Leo Burnett, Michelle served as the Vice President and Social Impact Lead, where they shifted perspectives, influenced culture, and drove strategic social responsibility initiatives. Michelle reported to and partnered with C-Suite executives, managed relationships with stakeholders, and focused on civic engagement, pro-bono work, employee volunteerism, and fundraising events. In addition to their work at Leo Burnett, Michelle also served as an Executive Non-Profit Board Member and Vice President of Marketing & Communications at Social Responsibility Chicago.
