Allison Saxton, MPA has a diverse work experience spanning across different industries and roles. In 2011, they served as the Campaign Manager and Treasurer for a Kentucky State Representative candidate, where they managed finances, assisted in fundraising events and strategies, and developed and administered social media relations. From 2012 to 2013, Allison worked as a Graduate Assistant at Morehead State University. In 2013, they held the role of Marketing Summer Staff at the Mountain Arts Center. Later that same year, Allison joined Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP as a Business Development and Marketing Specialist, where they were involved in writing blog posts, drafting press releases, creating social media content, and providing support for firm events. From 2015 to 2023, they served as the Administrative and Marketing Manager at Ward, Hocker & Thornton, PLLC, overseeing general administrative and marketing activities for two office locations. Currently, Allison is the Human Resources Director at Levy Restaurants, a position they assumed in 2023.
Allison Saxton, MPA has a Masters of Public Administration degree with a focus on Federalism and Public Affairs from Morehead State University, which they obtained from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Communication and Media Studies at Georgetown College, from 2007 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained certifications in "Supervising and Managing People, 13 Hour Course" from the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce in June 2015, and as a Notary Public in May 2015.
