Shauna Gilhooly has a diverse and extensive work history in human resources and leadership roles. From 2004 to 2005, they served as a Human Resources Manager at Wyndham Destinations. In 2006, they joined Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. as an Assistant Director of Human Resources and later became the Director of Human Resources until 2012. In the same year, they became the Vice President of Human Resources at TD Garden and the Boston Bruins, where they played a pivotal role in the company's human resources function and was a member of the senior executive team. In 2017, they participated in the LeadBoston Class of 2017 at YW Boston. Finally, in 2018, they joined Levy Restaurants as the Executive Vice President of People & Culture, overseeing a team of 40,000 employees and leading the development of an inclusive culture within the company. And most recently, Shauna serves as the Chief People Officer at Levy Restaurants.
Shauna Gilhooly holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Tulane University. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications throughout their career. Shauna achieved the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute in January 2010. In May 2008, they completed the Internal Discrimination Complaint Investigations certification from the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination. Shauna also holds a Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Starwood Hotels and Resorts, acquired in March 2008. Furthermore, they participated in an executive education program titled "Accelerating Change Readiness and Agility" with UC Berkeley Haas School of Business and ExecOnline, Inc., although the exact dates of completion are unknown.
