Hugo C. has a diverse work experience. Hugo began their career as a Student Athlete NCAA II Tennis at Caldwell University in 2013. In 2015, they transferred to Baruch College and continued their athletic career as a Student Athlete NCAA III Tennis. In 2016, Hugo C. worked as a Summer Analyst at BNP Paribas Corporate and Institutional Banking. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Machine Learning Researcher at Alpha Vertex Inc. and later as a Quantitative Researcher at Acadian Asset Management. In 2020, Hugo C. co-founded Aimvest Technologies, Inc. and in 2021 they were appointed Chief Operating Officer at Lifeworks Advisors, where they established quantitative modeling infrastructures, created performance reporting, automated strategies, trading, and cash flow projections, and designed and implemented company-wide strategies and procedures.

Hugo then attended Baruch College from 2015 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Finance. Finally, Hugo C. attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2018 to 2020, where they earned a Master of Finance. Hugo C. also holds several certifications, including Bloomberg Market Concepts, passing the CFA Level I, and a Series 65 from FINRA.
