Josef Pithart

Josef Pithart has a wealth of experience in the field of Business Intelligence and data solutions. Josef most recently served as the Business Intelligence Team Lead at Liftago starting from May 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Business Intelligence Consultant at Keboola from March 2023 to June 2023.

From November 2021 to February 2023, Josef held the position of Head Of Business Intelligence at Rossum. In this role, they were responsible for selecting, designing, and implementing an end-to-end Business Intelligence platform using Keboola and Tableau. Josef also managed a team and developed data solutions across the company.

Before their tenure at Rossum, Josef worked at Rohlik.cz as the Data Architect and Data Engineering Team Lead. Josef'srole involved redesigning BI data transformations architecture and rewriting SQL transformations in Keboola. Josef also served as the Supply Chain Senior BI Analyst.

Josef also gained experience as a Business Intelligence Consultant at NetBrokers Holding, leading a BI project using Bizzflow, Snowflake, Apache Airflow, GoodData, and PowerBi technologies. Josef was the technical owner of the project and the single point of contact for the BI consultancy company that implemented the POC.

In addition, Josef has served as a Data Platform Architect at Velvon, where they were responsible for designing and maintaining next-generation data platforms in Microsoft Azure. Josef collaborated with various architects and designers to deliver data solutions that met the business requirements.

Josef's career also includes positions at ZOOT a.s. as the Head of Data, where they selected, designed, and implemented a Business Intelligence solution, and at GoodData as the BI Specialist - Team Leader, where they participated in data modeling and requirement gathering sessions and led a team of solution engineers.

Josef began their career as a BI analyst at NESS CZECH s.r.o. and also worked as a system integrator at the University of Economics Prague.

Throughout their career, Josef has demonstrated their expertise in Business Intelligence, team management, data solutions, and platform design.

Josef Pithart completed their primary and secondary education at Gymnazium Spitalska from 1993 to 2000. Josef then pursued higher education and obtained a Master's degree in Cognitive Informatics from Prague University of Economics and Business from 2004 to 2010.
