Rowan Adams

Rowan Adams has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. In their most recent position at Lifted, Rowan served as the Head of Product starting in February 2023. Prior to that, Rowan worked at Earlybird as an Advisor starting in October 2022.

Rowan's experience in product management includes roles at Birdie, On Deck, CMC Markets, Plural AI, and Sonantic. At Birdie, Rowan was a Senior Product Manager from May 2021 to February 2023. They led a product team in launching a new product suite and contributed to the company's growth. At On Deck, Rowan was a Product Management Fellow from January to December 2022.

During their time at CMC Markets from February 2020 to January 2021, Rowan served as a Product Manager. They built a key product vertical within the fintech company and launched a risk management and analytics product suite. Rowan was also responsible for starting a User Research lab to prioritize user-centricity.

Rowan's earlier work experience includes roles at Plural AI as the 1st Product Manager (Contract) from August 2019 to February 2020 and at Sonantic as the Founding Product Manager (Contract) from July to September 2019. They contributed to the development of human-quality synthetic voice technology at Sonantic, which later was acquired by Spotify.

Before transitioning to product management, Rowan worked as an Associate at Entrepreneur First from January 2018 to July 2019. Entrepreneur First is a startup builder and venture capital fund that supports individuals in building startups from scratch.

Rowan's experience also includes roles at Huckletree as a Product Lead in 2017 and a Growth Lead from November 2016 to July 2017. Additionally, they worked as a Contributing Writer at Doctorpreneurs from July 2016 to October 2017.

Rowan Adams attended Adams' Grammar School from 2003 to 2010. During this time, Rowan achieved excellent grades, including 8 A* grades and 3 A grades in their GCSEs. Following their time at Adams' Grammar School, Rowan went on to study Economics at Durham University from 2011 to 2014, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree.
