Charlton Cunningham has an extensive work experience history. Charlton most recently worked as a Program Manager in Tulsa for the Lightship Foundation starting in August 2022. Prior to that, they served as an Accelerator Program Manager for Higher Ground Labs from February 2022 to July 2022. Before that, they were the Head of Talent at Venwise from July 2021 to December 2021. From January 2021 to July 2021, they held the position of Head of Programs at HBCUvc, where they were responsible for program outcomes and success. Additionally, they served as the Ecosystems Program Manager at HBCUvc from October 2019 to January 2021, focusing on the expansion of the Venture Capital summer internship program. Prior to that, Charlton worked as the Labs Director at weareoust.co, managing a network of startups and launching the Oust Labs startup division. Charlton also served as the Startup Community Manager at BuiltTech Labs, managing a community of early-stage startups and developing engagement strategies. Previous experiences include roles as the Executive Director of Startup Atlanta, Community Coordinator at Startup Atlanta, Community Experience Designer at Sandbox Communities LLC, Branding Associate at ROAM: Innovative Workplace, and Brand Strategy Fellow at Matchstic. Throughout their career, Charlton has demonstrated a strong ability to lead and develop programs, manage relationships with partners and funders, and create engaging experiences and events within the startup ecosystem.

Charlton Cunningham started their education in 2001 at George Walton High School, where they completed their high school education in 2005. Following this, they attended Southern Polytechnic State University from 2005 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Architecture degree (BArch) with a specialization in Architecture.
