Joe Makowski

Joe Makowski is an experienced logistics professional currently serving as the Director of Special Operations at Lineage Logistics since July 2017, following a successful tenure at XPO division from July 1998 to July 2017, where roles included Service Center Manager and Lean Project Manager. At Lineage Logistics, Joe oversees a facility with 141 doors and supports a workforce of 140 employees, managing the movement of 4,000,000 pounds of freight daily. Throughout Joe's career, a strong focus has been placed on lean principles, with efforts directed toward teaching employees how to implement lean values and tools effectively. Joe holds education credentials from Penn State University, where attendance spanned from 1988 to 1990.
