Jana Massey has over 25 years of experience in the digital advertising industry. Jana began their career in 1995 as an Ad Operations Manager at IGN.com/Future Publishing. In 2001, they became the Director of Ad Operations at Edmunds.com, where they oversaw an ad operations team, produced inventory and revenue reports, and provided technical recommendations on the implementation of new ad products. In 2007, they moved to Connexus as the Sr. Director of Media Operations, where they served on the executive team and was responsible for overseeing internal platform migrations. From 2008 to 2009, they were a Consultant for Admonsters Professional Services, where they evaluated ad servers, supporting tools, and workflow configurations. From 2009 to 2010, they were the Director of Advertising Operations at Mail.com Media Corp (MMC). From 2010 to 2013, they were the Sr. Director of Ad Operations at SpinMedia (formerly BUZZMEDIA), where they managed an 11-person bi-coastal team and was the primary administrator for DSM, DFP, DFP Premium, Brightcove, and a proprietary extensions tool. From 2013 to 2016, they were the VP of Advertising Systems and VP of Advertising Operations at SheKnows Media. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Freelance VP Director Ad Ops and Group Director of Digital Ad Operations (West Coast) at Dentsu Aegis Network. Since 2020, they have been the Head of Ad Traffic at Linkfire.
