Michaela Kennedy, PHR

Michaela Kennedy, PHR has a diverse work experience. Michaela started their career as an HR Intern at the Hilton Conference Center at the University of Florida in 2013. Michaela then worked at the University of Florida as a Research Assistant and later as a Teaching Assistant. In 2014, they joined WilsonHCG as an Internal Recruitment Consultant and then transitioned into the role of Learning and Development Consultant. In 2018, Michaela joined livingHR, Inc. as a Talent Operations Manager and later progressed to the role of Senior Talent Operations Manager. Michaela then took on the role of Leader, Innovation + Platforms, and eventually became the Sr. Leader, Innovation + Platforms. Currently, they hold the position of VP, Innovation + Platforms at livingHR, Inc.

Michaela Kennedy, PHR, completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology and Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Criminology & Law from the University of Florida, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. In 2013, they also attended the ECELA Spanish School for a brief period to further enhance their knowledge of Spanish Language and Literature.

In addition to their degrees, Michaela has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. In December 2017, they obtained the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the State of Florida. Michaela further expanded their knowledge and expertise by obtaining the HarvardX Verified Certificate for Technology Entrepreneurship: Lab to Market from edX in September 2021. Michaela also completed Cybersecurity Awareness Training from Amazon in November 2021 and the Wharton Business Foundations Specialization from Wharton Online in January 2022.
