Fábio Toi

Fábio Toi is a founding backend engineer at Livus. Before joining Livus, they served as Head of Product and Technology at Infleux from October 2017 to May 2021. While at Infleux, they developed APIs and client side features of a web app that allows influencers to search for performance advertising campaigns, run them on their social media channels, check their performance metrics (clicks and installs generated) and get paid for it. Prior to their time at Infleux, Toi worked as a data scientist at Revmob from May 2016 to October 2017. There, they developed of a machine learning system that trains models on terabytes of data for real time bidding using C and Python. Fábio also created an ETL system using Spark and AWS EMR to transform Terabytes of raw text files into columnar format (parquet). In addition, Toi studied and created statistical models for time series forecasting while at Revmob. Before Revmob, they worked as a software engineer at the RevMob Mobile Ad Network from March 2015 to January 2016. Toi began their career as an engineering intern at CPqD from September 2014 to March 2015. Fábio also served as a sales engineering intern at Google from July 2013 to December 2013. Additionally, Toi was a didactic assistant at Universidade Estadual de Campinas from August 2010 to December 2010.

Fábio Toi has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Universidade Estadual de Campinas, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Technology, General from Ecole Centrale de Marseille. Fábio is certified by edX in edX Honor Code Certificate for Scalable Machine Learning, and by Coursera in Introduction to Digital Sound Design.
