SHREEJIT VERMA

Shreejit Verma has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. In 2017, while still in college, they worked as a Summer Intern at Vellore Institute of Technology, where they built neural networks and used data analysis to predict the QS World Ranking of Universities.

After graduating, Shreejit joined Bank of America in 2018 as a Senior Software Engineer. In this role, they developed and maintained services in the Post Trade Processing Team, specifically working on Total Return Swap Bonds, Futures Options, and Futures Cash products. SHREEJIT also took on the role of Data Architect and Strategist in AI & ML, where they designed an AI and ML machine learning framework and maintained the Hadoop Sandbox platform. Additionally, they organized an AI/ML Awareness campaign attended by over 2500 associates.

In 2022, Shreejit joined Versor Investments as a Quantitative Developer. Here, they focused on the Merger Arbitrage Portfolio and developed an ESG Strategy that was embedded in other portfolios to capitalize on arbitrage opportunities.

Currently, Shreejit is working at LogiNext as a Senior Software Engineer - Analytics. Their responsibilities include designing and developing map construction algorithms and map routing algorithms to solve rich vehicle routing problems using constraint programming. SHREEJIT works with various databases and programming languages, as well as tools like Git, Jenkins, and JIRA.

Shreejit Verma has a diverse and extensive education history. SHREEJIT began their education in 2005 at CHAPRA CENTRAL SCHOOL in Chapra, Bihar, where they completed their Senior Secondary education until 10th grade. Their field of study during this period focused on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. From 2012 to 2014, Shreejit attended Devasthaly Vidyapeeth in Balia, U.P, where they pursued their Higher Secondary education, specializing in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

In 2014, Shreejit enrolled in Vellore Institute of Technology, where they pursued their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering until 2018. During this time, they developed a strong foundation in computer science.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Shreejit went on to further enhance their knowledge and skills with various certification programs. In 2017, they obtained the "Faculty Quality Control" certification from Vellore Institute of Technology. In 2017 and 2018, Shreejit pursued several online certification courses on Coursera, including "Applied Machine Learning in Python," "Introduction to Big Data," "Big Data Integration and Processing," "Structuring Machine Learning Projects," "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization," "Applied Text Mining in Python," "Sequence Models," "Convolutional Neural Networks," "Applied Social Network Analysis in Python," "Understanding Financial Markets," "Portfolio and Risk Management," "Big Data Modeling and Management Systems," and "Securing Investment Returns in the Long Run."

Shreejit's pursuit of knowledge continued as they obtained several more certifications in the following years. In 2019, they obtained the "CFA Exam Level I" certification from the CFA Institute. In 2020, they completed the "Financial Engineering and Risk Management Part I" and "Financial Engineering and Risk Management Part II" certifications on Coursera. In 2020, they also obtained the "Investment Foundations Certificate" from the CFA Institute. Most recently, in 2021, Shreejit obtained the "Sequences, Time Series and Prediction" certification from Coursera and the "Bloomberg" certification from Bloomberg LP.

Building on their education and certifications, Shreejit is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Financial Engineering. From 2021 to 2023, they are attending WorldQuant University, specializing in Financial Engineering.
