Annie Vemu

Annie Vemu is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the biotechnology and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Associate at Longwood Fund since October 2021, Annie previously held the position of Associate. Prior experience includes a role as Founding Strategy & Ops at DEM Biopharma, Inc. and an Associate position at Flagship Pioneering. Between September 2014 and March 2020, Annie was a Graduate Student at Johns Hopkins University while also holding a Postbaccalaureate Fellowship at the National Institutes of Health from October 2012 to September 2014. Annie earned a PhD in Biology/Biological Sciences from The Johns Hopkins University and holds both a Master's degree in Chemistry and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry/Chemistry from UC San Diego.
