Jennifer Musser

Jennifer Musser has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jennifer'smost recent role is as the Director of the Academic Success Center at Lourdes University, which they started in 2022. Prior to that, they served as the President of the Michigan Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages from 2020 to 2023. In 2021, they worked as an English Second Language Instructor at Washtenaw Community College. From 2018 to 2022, they held the position of Program Coordinator at Washtenaw Literacy and also served as an AmeriCorps Vista during that time. Jennifer has also worked with IELTS USA as a Clerical Marker and Invigilator from 2016 to 2018. Jennifer gained experience as a Graduate Assistant at Eastern Michigan University from 2016 to 2018. Before that, they worked as an English Instructor at ELT Source from 2011 to 2016 and at ACC English School from 2009 to 2011. Jennifer started their career as a Public Speaking Tutor at the Ohio Program of Intensive English, Ohio University, from 2008 to 2009.

Jennifer Musser completed their education with a Master of Arts in TESOL from Eastern Michigan University in 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Ohio University in 2009. In 2007-2008, Jennifer studied Japanese Studies at Chubu University. Jennifer has also obtained additional certifications in Mental Health First Aid, ProLiteracy Trainer, Human-Centered Design, and Clerical Marker Trainer.
