Tobias Maile

Principal Scientist at Loxo Oncology

Tobias Maile has extensive work experience in the field of mass spectrometry and proteomics. Tobias has worked as a Principal Scientist at Loxo Oncology at Lilly since 2021. Prior to that, they held roles at CalicoLabs as a Principal Research Associate and Senior Research Associate, where they supported key research groups with mass spectrometric data analysis and established LCMS technology and methods. Tobias also worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Genentech, where they conducted mass spectrometry on epigenetic posttranslational modifications on histones. Additionally, they worked as a Visiting Research Scholar at Princeton University, collaborating on quantitative proteomics and chemical histone sample labeling. Earlier in their career, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow at Cancer Research UK, where they focused on posttranslational modifications of transcription factors and their function in the Hippo pathway.

Tobias Maile's education history includes:

- From 1995 to 2001, they attended the University of Hohenheim as an undergraduate student studying Biology, General.

- From 2002 to 2007, they simultaneously attended the University of California, Riverside as a Junior Specialist in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and the University of Hohenheim where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular Biology.
