Lucky Saint – Head of Brand (12 Months Maternity Cover mid Jan 2025-Feb 2026)  

Reporting to: Marketing and E-commerce Director  

The Opportunity:      

                                                                                                

We are looking for a Head of Brand to join the team at Lucky Saint as we continue our mission to become the world’s defining alcohol-free beer. This role is a 12-month maternity cover contract.

We are a team who passionately care about the brand and maintaining exceptionally high standards at all touch points of the business. Our founder, Luke Boase, launched Lucky Saint in late 2018 with an ambition to change the perception of alcohol-free beer and the drinking experience, worldwide. Since the launch of our 0.5% Superior Unfiltered Lager, Lucky Saint has received widespread attention from top industry professionals, the UK’s best operators, and the media.    

A Day in the Life:  

You could start your day meeting with the Marketing Team, discussing the yearly brand calendar and live campaigns before catching up with our media buyer or one of our many brand partners. Your afternoon could be filled brainstorming creative ideas with our Head of Creative for our new brand campaign, before running through budgets with our Marketing and ECommerce Director.  

Key Responsibilities:             

Brand Strategy and Messaging 

  • Lead the brand marketing team, including 2 direct reports: Social Media Manager and Brand Manager

  • Work alongside our Head of Creative to deliver industry leading creative work

  • Execute our brand strategy and be our brand guardian

  • Manage the master brand calendar and own yearly brand planning process

  • Lead our major brand campaigns during the year: Jan ’26 and May ‘25

  • Lead the marketing launch of new products

  • Look after our marketing plans across the UK and international markets (currently Ireland and the Netherlands)

Partnerships, Brand Activations & Social Media  

  • Direct the brand team to execute carefully curated collaborations and well aligned brand partnerships

  • Direct the social and influencer team to win over the most influential people in our target communities

  • Oversee organic and top of funnel social strategy, tying into campaigns where relevant

Budget & Reporting  

  • Report on brand KPIs and engagement metrics

  • Manage the brand budget, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources

Who you are:  

  • 12 years' experience in marketing and brand

  • You’ve held a Head of Brand (or comparable) role for at least 3 years

  • You’ve worked for at least one other FMCG brand

  • Understanding of marketing across off-trade, on-trade and DTC

  • Experience running successful brand campaigns including ATL media

  • Line manager experience

  • Passionate about the world of drinks, beer and alcohol-free

  • Comfortable signing off and editing copy

Desirable: 

  • Experience working in a drinks brand

  • Experience launching NPD

  • Experience working in start ups and/or scale ups

  • Familiar with Asana
