Role Summary:

The Head of Insights and Diagnostics is responsible for leading the development and launch of MindGym’s market leading diagnostics & assessment products, and leveraging the data from those products to build differentiated insights and IP.

Diagnostics & assessments are a core part of MindGym’s product strategy. MindGym has a full suite of diagnostics and assessments, including culture assessments, 360, and personality (10X) assessments. They generate a standalone revenue stream, as well as impact our overall revenue through impact and insight reporting, inclusion in our packaged products, and the generation of our own proprietary behavioural science insights.

The Head of Insights and Diagnostics will lead a small high-performing team of psychometricians and a data engineer, and serve as a member of MindGym’s Leadership Team. With the Chief Product Officer, they will own the roadmap for diagnostics, assessments, and our proprietary insights, and communicate it to the company.

They will work hand-in-hand with product managers to bring market leading data products successfully to market. They will work closely with marketing to maximize MindGym’s presence in the market through the development of market differentiated insights and by being a face of our insights at market events, like roundtables and conferences.

The role will report directly into the Chief Product Officer.

Role and Responsibilities:

Working with the Chief Product Officer, they will be responsible for:

  • Building and managing a roadmap for the development of our diagnostics, assessment, and data strategy 
  • Generating cutting-edge insights from our proprietary data that challenge conventional wisdom, inform our product set and differentiate us in the market
  • Developing out the full suite of MG’s culture diagnostics, both as standalone and packaged products
  • Ensuring the successful launch of our 360 and 10X personality assessment platforms
  • Leveraging the data to personalize learning for learners
  • Deciding and executing on the best ways to automate and consolidate our diagnostic and assessment platforms
  • Developing and executing a strategy to better capture impact & insight data in MindGym’s solutions and weave them into client conversations to create value and cross-sell and renewal opportunities
  • Representing MindGym’s insights to the market and to our clients
  • Upskilling our client facing teams on diagnostics, assessments and insights
  • Serving as the internal expert on diagnostics, assessment, and insights
  • Working cross-functionally with teams (TNT, CDT, etc. for the launch of our products)
  • Delivering on agreed upon KPIs
  • Managing a team that is based out of London

  • Team Management: Ability to lead teams in the development of insight, data and diagnostic products
  • Insight Generation: Ability to create and communicate content that challenges conventional wisdom
  • Product Orientation: Ability to create analytics products for HR buyers
  • Statistical Knowledge: Expert knowledge and familiarity with advanced statistical analysis (e.g. regression) and data engineering (e.g. data lakes) 
  • Leadership: Inspires others to deliver great work
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally
  • Effectively Upward management: Ability to communicate effectively with executives about timeline and progress against KPIs

Essential Qualifications:

  • PhD in a quantitative social science, preferably in behavioural science, or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated experience creating data products and insights in an enterprise environment
  • Demonstrated experience launching diagnostics and assessments successfully
  • Demonstrated experience managing teams
  • Demonstrated experience sharing insights externally through roundtables, client conversations, etc.
