Yichen Shen

Yichen Shen has had a long and varied career. Yichen began their professional journey in 2007 as an Undergraduate Student at Nanyang Technological University. Yichen then moved to Johns Hopkins University in 2009, where they were an Undergraduate. In 2011, they started their post-graduate studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they were a Ph.D Student in Physics and a Post-doc Associate. In 2017, they became Co-Founder of both Lightelligence and Lux Labs. Yichen is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Lightelligence.

Yichen Shen attended Hangzhou Foreign Languages School from 2001 to 2007, where they completed their high school education. Yichen then attended Nanyang Technological University Singapore from 2007 to 2009, earning a BS in Physics. Yichen continued their studies at The Johns Hopkins University from 2009 to 2011, earning a Master of Arts in Mathematics and a B.Sc in Physics and Mathematics. Finally, they completed their education at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Applied Physics in 2016.
