Eric Turtle

Eric Turtle has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Eric began their career in 1998 as a Scientist II at Praecis Pharmaceuticals. In 2001, they joined FibroGen Inc. as a Principal Scientist investigating small molecule inhibitors of targets relating to fibrosis, anemia, and cytoprotection. From 2009 to 2016, they held the role of Senior Scientist at NovaBay Pharmaceuticals and Reset Therapeutics. From 2017 to 2020, they worked at BlackThorn Therapeutics as both a Principal Scientist and Senior Scientist. Eric Turtle currently works as a Principal Scientist at Lycia Therapeutics.

Eric Turtle obtained a BS in Chemistry from Harvey Mudd College between 1989 and 1993. Eric then went on to obtain a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley between 1993 and 1998.
