Kevin C. Chen

Kevin C. Chen is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate governance, securities, and commercial law. Currently serving as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Lyft, Kevin leads the Corporate and Commercial Legal function, managing a diverse team while overseeing critical functions such as SEC reporting, capital markets, and M&A. Prior roles include positions at Yahoo as Legal Director focusing on corporate governance, and various positions at Cooley LLP and Heller Ehrman, where Kevin represented emerging growth companies and handled numerous high-stakes transactions. In addition, Kevin is a Charter Member of The L Suite (TechGC), a community for Deputy General Counsels. Kevin holds a B.A. in Public Policy from Stanford University and a J.D. from UCLA School of Law.
