Ian Haworth

Ian Haworth is a highly experienced software engineer with a diverse background in leading development projects across various organizations. Currently serving as the Lead Developer at Made Tech since March 2022, Ian focuses on collaboration with UK public organizations. Prior to this role, Ian worked at THG for nearly a decade as a Principal Developer, where responsibilities included leading the Product Vertical, managing live systems, and training teams in modern technical practices. Ian's earlier experience includes a position as a Senior Software Engineer at BSkyB, contributing to the successful software release for Sky set-top boxes. Additionally, Ian has held roles as a Java Team Leader at Inview Interactive Ltd. and as a Java Software Engineer at Dedicated Micros, as well as a Virtual Reality Software Engineer at PTC, specializing in Virtual Human models.
