Deborah Batie has extensive work experience in the education field. Deborah started as a Paraprofessional at Bright Horizons in 2007 and progressed through roles such as Teacher at King's Kiddie Kingdom Daycare, Teacher II at Chicago Commons, and Parent Support/Administration at Delta T Group/SGA Youth & Family Services. Deborah then served as a Teacher at Centers for New Horizons before becoming an Assistant Director at Little Kiddies Daycare Center, where they were promoted from Headstart Teacher. Deborah went on to work as a Lead Teacher at Malone Workforce Solutions and currently holds the position of Kindergarten Specialist at Carole Robertson Center for Learning starting in 2022. Throughout their roles, they have focused on creating enriching learning environments and building strong relationships with both children and parents.

Deborah continued their education at Ashford University, completing a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and Teaching in 2020. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in ECE Level 5 from Gateway Opportunity.
