Filipa Jervis has extensive work experience in the field of user experience and design. Filipa currently holds the position of VP of User Experience at Malwarebytes, where they collaborate with product and engineering leaders to create user-centered experiences for the company's product suite. Prior to this, Filipa worked as the Head of UX (website) at Cazoo, where they led a team of talented UX designers in designing the company's website and worked closely with the Head of Product and Head of Engineering to achieve the product vision.

Before their time at Cazoo, Filipa held various roles at OutSystems, including Head of UX/UI @ Customer Success and User Experience Lead. Filipa was responsible for ensuring a positive user experience for customers and providing support and guidance to the UX/UI team. Filipa also had significant experience at Novabase, where they served as the Head of Experience Design (Financial Services) and Senior Experience Designer. In these roles, they led a team of experience designers, created technological systems, and worked directly with customers and development teams to deliver meaningful and delightful user experiences.

Earlier in their career, Filipa worked as a Product Manager at PT Sistemas de Informação, S.A., where they were responsible for planning product development and launch. Filipa also worked as an Interaction Designer/User Experience Consultant at PT Sistemas de Informação, S.A. and PT Comunicações, where they conducted usability studies and collaborated on various projects.

Filipa's work experience also includes teaching English at The Kids Club.

Filipa Jervis has a Masters degree in Human Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University, obtained in 2008. Filipa also has a Masters degree in Human-Computer Interaction from Universidade da Madeira, obtained in 2008. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies in Clinical Psychology at Instituto Superior de Psicologia Aplicada, earning their degree in 2003. In addition, Filipa obtained certifications in UX Management from Nielsen Norman Group in 2018, and a Certificate of membership from The Interaction Design Foundation in 2017. Filipa also holds a Certificate of Proficiency in English from Cambridge English Language Assessment, obtained in 1998.
