George Mosomi

George Mosomi has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. George is currently serving as the Vice President of Operations at Mara since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Fund Manager at SafariFund from December 2022. Before that, they were the Head of Africa and Business Development Leader at Unstoppable Domains from April 2022 to April 2023.

From September 2020 to April 2022, George held the position of Head of Business Development at GridX Africa. Earlier in their career, they worked at Pngme as the Head of Developer Relations from April 2020 to April 2022, and as the Director of Operations from an unspecified start date in 2018 until April 2020.

From January 2018 onwards, George served as the Head of Business Development at Radius Labs Ventures, while also taking on the role of Head of Africa at NEM.io Foundation from an unspecified start date until August 2019.

George co-founded EOS NAIROBI, where they served as a Co-founder and Blockchain Engineer from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Blockchain Engineer at Solo Energy from February 2018 to November 2018.

Later, in 2013 and 2014, they went to Heriot-Watt University to obtain a Master of Science degree in Renewable Energy Development. In addition to their academic qualifications, George Mosomi holds certifications as a Certified Energy Manager and Certified Measurement & Verification Professional from the Association of Energy Engineers.
