Jasper Mason

Jasper Mason currently serves as Senior Counsel at Marathon Oil Corporation, providing support for operations in multiple states and handling various legal aspects of acquisitions and regulatory issues. Additionally, Jasper holds a position as an Adjunct Professor of Oil and Gas Law at the University of Houston Law Center since January 2018. Previously, Jasper practiced as an attorney at Baker Donelson, Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP, Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, Baker & Hostetler LLP, Looper Goodwine P.C., and served as Senior Negotiator for New Ventures International at Hess Corporation. Jasper began the professional career as a Landman at Magnum Hunter Resources Corporation and a Senior Consultant at IHS. Jasper's academic credentials include a J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center, a Master’s in International Affairs from Texas A&M University, and a Bachelor’s in Political Science from the University of Houston.
