Steven Lord

Steven Lord is a Senior Counsel at Marathon Oil Corporation, where Steven serves as an operations attorney for the company’s Texas and Oklahoma assets. With a background in oil and gas law, Steven has experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various agreements. Prior to their current role, Steven worked as an Associate Attorney at Crady Jewett McCulley & Houren LLP and as an Assistant Attorney General at the Texas Attorney General's office. Steven holds a J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, a B.A. in English from The University of the South, and an LL.M. in Energy, Environmental, and Natural Resources Law from the University of Houston Law Center.
