Raimond Voermans

Raimond Voermans has extensive work experience in the field of IT. Raimond started their career at IBM in 2001, where they worked as an IT Specialist until 2006. From 2006 to 2010, they served as the Teamleader System Integration Technical Team at UWV. Voermans then returned to IBM and held positions as a team leader and Delivery Project Manager until 2010. Raimond joined Grontmij in 2010 and worked as the Manager Corporate IT and later as the Global IT Director until 2016. At Sweco, they served as the IT Director of Global End User Services from 2016 to 2017. Raimond then joined Marel as the CIO in 2017. Voermans became a Board Member of CIO Platform Nederland in 2019, where they focused on improving vendor relations.

Raimond Voermans completed a bachelor's degree in Chemical Technology from Avans University of Applied Sciences between 1995 and 2000. Additionally, they obtained various certifications in digital strategy, digital analytics, leading digital business transformation, and digital execution from IMD and IMD Business School between 2020 and 2021.
