Joel Santiago

Joel Santiago has a considerable amount of work experience in the field of developing and sustaining systems. Joel worked at Liberty Seguros (Portugal) for a total of 24 years, starting as a Manager of Development Systems and eventually becoming the Superintendent of Development Systems. In this role, Joel was responsible for managing a team of approximately 150 employees and contractors, as well as overseeing a budget of around 25 million. Joel also had experience in project management, collaborating with reputable companies such as IBM, Oracle, Informática, BRQ, Stefanini, Simetrias, and GTI. More recently, Joel joined Marfrig Global Foods as the CIO for South America in April 2019.

Joel Santiago completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at Universidade Cruzeiro do Sul from 1994 to 1998. Joel further pursued their education and obtained a Master's degree in Business Management (MBA Gestão Empresarial) from Business School São Paulo (BSP) between 2009 and 2011. Additionally, they attended Berlitz School from 2005 to 2007, where they focused on studying English.
