Isto Hantila

Isto Hantila retired in 2020 after a professional career spanning 38 years, including 11 years abroad and visits to 57 countries. Prior to retiring, they held the position of Managing Director at Marioff and General Manager of Water Mist Suppression & Marine Division since 2010. Isto also served as Member and Chairman of the Board at Efore Oyj from 2007 to 2011. Additionally, they were a Member of the Board at Ecocat Oy from 2008 to 2010. Isto'sprevious roles include Chief Executive Officer at Aspocomp Group Plc from 2007 to 2009, Chief Executive Officer at Perlos from 2004 to 2007, Chief Operating Officer at Ascom from 2000 to 2003, Division CEO at Ascom Energy Systems from 1994 to 1999, and Managing Director at Ascom Energy Systems Oy from 1991 to 1994.

Isto Hantila earned their M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Economics from the Technical University of Lappeenranta, where they studied from 1978 to 1983. In 2016, they completed the Insead Global Leadership Development Program at INSEAD. In 2014, they participated in the UTC Emerging Leaders Program at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
