Tim Hooley

Tim Hooley has extensive work experience in technology and financial industries. Tim is currently serving as the Head of Technology, EMEA and APAC at MarketAxess, where they focus on enhancing global technology capabilities in electronic fixed income trading. Prior to this, they worked at Red Hat as Chief Technologist, EMEA FSI from 2018 to 2020. Before joining Red Hat, Tim spent a significant part of their career at Goldman Sachs, where they held the position of Managing Director, Technology from 1996 to 2018. Tim started their professional journey as a Consultant at Accenture from 1993 to 1996 and began their career as an Apprentice at JCB from 1989 to 1993.

Tim Hooley attended Brunel University London from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in the Special Engineering Programme (SEP). In 2004, they also obtained a certification in Certified Management Accountant (CMA) from CIMA.
