Karti Subramanian has a diverse work background with experience in various roles. Karti began their career in 2005 as the Co-Owner and COO of MAStorage Inc. From there, they worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at Lehman Brothers and later Barclays Capital. In 2009, they became a Program Officer at Grassroot Soccer. In 2015, they served as a Summer Intern at EkStep Foundation. Karti then joined the City of Boston as a Summer Fellow in 2016. In 2017, they took on the role of Research Manager at MIT Sloan School of Management and also co-founded Teachly, an ed-tech application. Karti Subramanian is currently working as the Product Team Lead at MBTA and has also previously served as a Product Manager there. Additionally, they are a co-founder and board member of Vera Solutions.
Karti Subramanian attended Washington International School from 1999 to 2003. Karti then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Economics at Amherst College from 2003 to 2007. Later, they enrolled at Harvard Kennedy School and obtained an MPA/ID degree from 2014 to 2017. During this time, they also studied at MIT Sloan School of Management and completed an MBA degree from 2015 to 2017.
