Maria Garrahan has a strong background in investment management and research. Maria currently serves as the Director of Research and Senior Investment Officer at Massachusetts Pension Reserves Investment Management. Prior to this, they worked as an Investment Officer in the Strategy Group at the same company. Maria also gained experience as a Global Asset Allocation Analyst at Columbia Threadneedle Investments, US. Maria started their career as a Research Assistant and later became a Quantitative Researcher at State Street Associates, where they focused on investor behavior research. Maria also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Eastern Connecticut State University.
Maria Garrahan has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics from Eastern Connecticut State University. Additionally, they hold a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Applied Economics from Northeastern University.
