Rickard Elmqvist

Rickard Elmqvist has a diverse and extensive work experience. Rickard'smost recent role was as the Director of Data Science & Engineering, Game Analytics, and User Research at Massive Entertainment - A Ubisoft Studio since December 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Game Analytics Manager at the same company from July 2017 to December 2020. Before joining Massive Entertainment, Rickard worked as Department and Project Manager at APSIS International AB from September 2015 to July 2017. Rickard was also a Consultant and Owner at Oreadus from May 2014 to June 2016. Earlier in their career, Rickard held various managerial positions at FOSS Analytical A/S, including Senior Manager, Customer and Sales Support, Customer and Sales Support Manager, and Manager Technical Support between 2009 and 2014. Rickard also served as the Head of Global Information Management at Maersk Oil in 2009. Rickard started their career as a Software Engineer at FOSS Analytical A/S from 2005 to 2009. Rickard has also worked as a Laboratory Assistant at Swegene proteomics from August 2004 to June 2005 and was a Thesis Student at Lund University in 2005. Additionally, Rickard held leadership roles at Hallands Nation from January 2003 to December 2003, where they led a volunteer staff and served on various committees.

Rickard Elmqvist received their first MSC degree in Engineering Physics from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University, which they attended from 2000 to 2004. Rickard then pursued a second MSC degree in Engineering Physics (with a focus on Spectral analysis and Mass Spectroscopy) at Lund University from 2001 to 2005. Later, in 2011 to 2014, they attended IHM Business School and obtained a DIHM degree in Economics, specializing in Business, Marketing, Operations, and Strategy. In addition to their degrees, Rickard also holds various certifications in project management, software development, and other technical skills.
