Alejandra Plazas is a seasoned professional in strategy and innovation, currently serving as Director of Global Strategy & Expansion for the Future of Banking at Mastercard. Previous roles include Manager of Global Strategy & Innovation and Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean at Mastercard. Alejandra has also worked as a Senior Consultant focusing on Impact Investing and Financial Inclusion at Dalberg, as well as a Strategy and Innovation Consultant for Public/Private Sector Partnerships at the United Nations. Earlier experience includes positions at Deloitte Consulting as a Strategy & Operations Consultant and Marketing Intern. Alejandra holds a Master of Public Administration in Economic and Sustainable Development from Columbia University and a degree from Universidad de La Sabana.
