Teresa Papaleo

Teresa Papaleo is an experienced professional in data management and ethics, currently serving as Vice President of Data Management and Data Strategy/Engagement at Mastercard since November 2021. In previous roles at Scotiabank, Teresa held positions including Director of Data Ethics & Use, where responsibilities included establishing an AI ethics practice, and Director of Data Transformation Project, where focus was on creating an enterprise target operating model. Teresa’s career also includes roles in customer interaction management and marketing, demonstrating a strong foundation in customer insights and operational strategy. Teresa holds a Bachelor of Arts from Carleton University and a marketing degree from George Brown College.
