Salvador Vega Ornelas

Salvador Vega Ornelas is an experienced operations and continuous improvement manager with a strong background in manufacturing and project management. Currently serving as the USA OPEX and Continuous Improvement Manager at Matcor-Matsu Group since November 2022, Salvador has previously held significant positions such as Plant Manager at Vitro and Operations Manager at TE Connectivity, where expertise in low volume-high mix manufacturing was demonstrated. Prior experience includes roles in project management at Figeac Aero México, administrative directorship at Repelec Quality Energy Systems, and technical operations leadership at Magna International and Toyota North America. Salvador’s career began at Ford Motor Company, where multiple engineering and managerial roles were undertaken. Salvador holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from Tecnológico de Monterrey and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering with an emphasis on Electronics from Instituto Tecnológico de Hermosillo.
